So what exactly is CloudLinux?
It’s a version of the CentOS operating system that helps deal with sudden resource spikes on a server. The idea is to have it so if one website on the same shared server as you goes down, yours will stay up. Apparently, CloudLinux makes it so your web hosting account is separated from all the other hosting accounts on the same shared server. CloudLinux tweaks your website’s use of resources to try and stop it from overusing resources during increases of traffic. This is great news for shared hosting users! Of course, this is not a solution for those with massive websites who need VPS or Dedicated servers.
